Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah seems to be working so hard that his apparent lack of sleep appears to be catching up with him at the worst possible moments: right in front of the cameras.
Officials said protests took place at 17 places across the state, including Ballia, Aligarh, Gautam Buddh Nagar and Varanasi.
If there is a morality tale here, it is that debt and death spare no king.
The court said in its order, "If we have not imposed a lockdown it does not mean that we do not believe in it. We are still of the view that if we want to break the chain a lockdown for a duration of at least two weeks is a must."
